Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery. Visitation will take place at St. John’s Lutheran Church on Friday, August 13, 2021 from 10:30 Am until the time of service at 12:00 PM.</p><p>James was born on September 9, 1935 to Frank and Winafred (Wehrmann) Erdman in Rib Lake. He attended Fawn Valley School in Rib Lake. After schooling, he worked on the family farm. He then went to work for Gem Products, until its closing. He then worked from Black River Industries. He also worked as a logger, peeling poplar.</p><p>James enjoyed the outdoors, including picking berries, cutting wood, and smoking his pipe or cigars. James was known in Rib Lake for riding his bike for his transportation needs, to ride out to the farm and back to his trailer house. James would meet the Greyhound bus at the Blue Royal, at the corner of highway 13 and 102, to travel to Milwaukee or other places, when that service was available. James liked music, polkas, waltzes, and Johnny Cash.</p><p>James is survived by his nieces, Tammy (Paul) Bergeson of Wausau and Brenda (Tracy) Lewis of Pewaukee; nephews, Allen and Randy Christianson, both of Rib Lake, Burt (Lauren) Bartelt of Big Bend, and Brad (Karen Haack) Bartelt of New Berlin; brother-in-law, Bernard Bartelt of New Berlin. August 4 at Woodland Community Church, N8609 Bus. Hwy. 13, Westboro, WI 54490.
Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Rib Lake. </p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, August 3 at Hemer
Funeral Home in Medford, and from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m.
Wednesday at Woodland Community Church in Westboro.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Cody was born October 15, 1992 in LaCrosse to Todd Weinke
and Michele Lekie.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>He attended Rib Lake
and graduated in 2011.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>He was currently
working at Pomp’s Tire Service in Abbottsford. </p>
<p class="MsoNormal">When looking for Cody, you could find him on the lake, in
the woods or with his three beautiful girls.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">
</span>He loved spending time with his fiancé Brittany.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Brittany was his whole world, along with his
two girls Addilynn and Emmalynn.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Cody
and Brittany were to be united in marriage on December 31, 2021. </p>
<p class="MsoNormal">He is survived by his fiancé Brittany Blair; two daughters,
Addilynn and Emmalynn; mother, Michele (Mickey) Lekie; father, Todd (Paula)
Weinke; brothers, Colter (Shianne) Weinke, Josh (Amber) Fallos, Tim (Amber)
Fallos, and Eric Fallos; sister, Valerie (Ryan) Nelson; grandparents, Richard
(Betty) Lekie, Randall (Priscila) Weinke; nephews, Zander, Zephlyn, and Jaxon;
nieces, Zoey, Aurora, Isabella, and Ruby; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and
friends.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>He is further survived by
Brittany’s family/Cody’s in-laws-to-be: her parents, Mark (Mary Jo) Blair, Jeff
(Tracy) Pernsteiner; her brothers, Brad (Shelbie) Blair, Phillip (Alissa) Blair,
and Colin Blair; her grandparents, Dave (Shirley) Williams; and nieces and
nephews, Kyle, Kimberley, Graham, and Evelyn. </p>

Dums. She attended Highland Elementary School in the township of Greenwood and graduated from Rib Lake High School in 1951. After high school Marcella was employed at Gem Products, Inc. of Rib Lake until its closing. She then worked at Hurd Millwork, Inc. of Medford until her retirement.</p><p>Marcella was a member of Our Lady of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Medford. She was a former member of Assumption Catholic Church of Chelsea where she was active in the Ladies Sodality. She was one of the founding members of Historic St. Ann’s Church. She worked various events at the Chelsea Conservation Club. Marcella was a member of the Chequamegon Bird Club. She also enjoyed gardening, traveling, and spending time with her family.</p><p>Marcella is survived by one sister, Helen M. Dums, of Medford and one brother, John J. (Mary) Dums of Rib Lake. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.</p><p>Marcella was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Joseph, Bernard (Hilda), and Donald (Helen Woolsey) Dums, and two sisters, Margaret (Lloyd) Vickers and Regina (Louis) Czerniak. She graduated from Medford High School in 1953. She worked in Chicago as a key punch operator for a period of time then moved back to Medford. On July 16, 1960 Luanne married Donald Mueller at Holway Lutheran Church. (They just celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary!)</p><p>Luanne provided in-home daycare for many years, worked at Tombstone Pizza, and was a bank teller at Fidelity National Bank for several years. After retirement, she was an active member of Ladies of Immanuel. She and Don loved travelling and being snowbirds, spending time in Arizona, New Mexico, Texas and Florida. She enjoyed gardening and being outdoors, walking with Don and their dog, Maxwell on the Pine Line Trail, cherishing time at her family’s cottage on Hull’s Lake, cheering on Wisconsin sports teams with Don, enjoyed reading and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. BROWN<p>Jeanne L. Brown, 78, of Medford, passed away on Sunday, July 25, 2021 at Country Gardens, under the care of Hope Hospice.</p><p>No services will be held. Burial will take place Prairie Homes Cemetery, in Waukesha.</p><p>Jeanne was born on June26, 1943 to Hugo and Ruth (Vallier) Multhauf in Milwaukee. She was a graduate of Bay View High School in Milwaukee.</p><p>On July 19, 1976 in Milwaukee, she married Wesley E. Brown; he preceded her in death on April 2, 2009. Together they owned and operated W.E. Brown Company in Milwaukee until selling the business on 1989. Boxrucker, 95, of
Medford, passed away Friday, July 16, 2021, at Stoney River Assisted Living
Facility in Marshfield. </span><span style="font-size: 12pt;"> </span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">A Mass of Christian Burial will
be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 26, 2021 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church,
with Reverend Patrick McConnell officiating.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be at the Holy Rosary Catholic
Cemetery, with Military Rites given by the Stetsonville American Legion Post 519, will follow.</span><span style="font-size: 12pt;"> </span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Edward was born on July 19,
1925, attended schools in Dorchester and Stetsonville and graduated from
Medford High School in 1944. He
participated in school sports, enjoyed playing baseball for Stetsonville and
participated in many other sports. His
marriage to Jean M. Ziehlke took place on May 12, 1952, at Holy Rosary Church
in Medford. Together, they enjoyed
camping and traveled to all fifty states and throughout Europe. He loved his family and greatly treasured
times spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.</span><span style="font-size: 12pt;"> </span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">He
was a veteran of World War II, serving overseas in England and Germany, being
discharged as a Staff Sergeant. He was a
charter member of the Medford National Guard, Co. A, 724 Eng Combat Bn, serving
many years as their First Sergeant, being discharged a Lt. in 1956.</span><span style="font-size: 12pt;"> </span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Following his discharge from
the Army, he was employed at Rib Lake Cheese as Office Manager until 1957. He began employment as office manager for
Taylor Electric Cooperative in 1979, when he was appointed General Manager of
the Cooperative. He served in that
position until his retirement in 1992.
During this time, he served as President of Dairyland Power Cooperative
Managers and Wisconsin Electric Cooperative managers association. He also served similar positions in the
Wisconsin Cooperative office managers association.</span><span style="font-size: 12pt;"> </span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">Mr. Boxrucker was a member of
Holy Rosary Catholic Church, a lay minister of the church, a member of Casmir
Cypher 4<sup>th</sup> Degree Knights of Columbus, and a 3<sup>rd</sup> Degree
member of the Knights of Columbus in Medford.
He was a member of the Boxrucker Berry American Legion Post in
Stetsonville, a past member of the Medford Curling Club, Medford Chamber of
Commerce and the Medford Bowling League.
He was a stock holder in Black River Golf Club and golfed for many
years. Following retirement, he golfed
at Tee Hi Golf Club in the Seniors League. </span><span style="font-size: 12pt;"> </span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 12pt;">He is lovingly survived by a
daughter, Jill (Timothy) Koenig of Medford, granddaughters Katie (Joel)
Sackett, of Eau Claire, Jeana (Andrew) Amsler, of Robbinsdale, MN, Kelly
(Andrew) Rindt, Sheboygan, and great-grandchildren Claire, Luke and Jude
Sackett, Vivian and William Amsler and Abigail, Nathan and Charlotte

June 28, 1980, Julee married Kevin Klemm. They resided in Medford where the
first seven years of her teaching career were in Colby at St. Mary’s School.
She then taught 4th grade for 30 years in the Medford Public Schools, retiring
in 2018.</span><span face="Arial, sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"> </span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal" style="background-clip: initial; background-image: initial; background-origin: initial; background-position: initial; background-repeat: initial; background-size: initial;"><span face=""Arial",sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;">Julee
had many interests, including gardening, canning, making sauerkraut, ice
fishing, snowmobiling, camping, Brewers baseball, and traveling. Quiet
times were spent curled up with a good book. Her love of music was carried
throughout her life.</span><span face="Arial, sans-serif" style="font-size: 12pt;"> </span></p>

passion for travel took Julee and her travel buddies to wonderful places.

they moved to the village of Gilman where she had resided until moving into the

enjoyed cooking, baking, trips to the casino, cheering on the Milwaukee

Helen’s grandchildren will be serving as pallbearers.</p><p>Helen was born on July 9, 1923 to Joseph and Mary (Zondlo) Maslonka on the family farmstead in Rib Lake. She attended Ward grade school and Rib Lake Junior High. She married Raymond Ziembo on June 14, 1944 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, he preceded her in death. She worked at Rib Lake Dairy for 10 years as a cheese wrapper and at Gem Products for 20 years as a liner installer. She was also a dairy farmer and a housewife.</p><p>In her spare time she enjoyed babysitting, polka music and dancing, playing cards, especially rummy and solitaire, and spending time with family and friends. She and Ray also enjoyed gardening and were features in a nationwide country living magazine. </p><p>Helen is survived by 3 sons, John (Joleen) Ziembo of Rib Lake, Robert Ziembo and Michael (Linda) Ziembo, both of Medford; 6 daughters, MaryEllen (Mike) Thums of Rib Lake, Patricia Strebig of Medford, Susan (Phillip) Marthaler of Athens, Barbara (Richard) Berger of Rib Lake, Joann (Jim) Wilke of Merrill, and Judy Ziembo of Rib Lake; 26 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. of Little Black, peacefully passed away on Friday, July 2, 2021 at her home with
her husband by her side and her rosary in her hand while under the care of
Aspirus Comfort Care & Hospice.<o:p></o:p></a></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">A funeral service
will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, July 16 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in
Medford. Interment will be at a later
date at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Little Black.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Visitation will be
from 9 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. Friday, July 16 at Holy Rosary
Catholic Church, Medford. </p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="mso-bookmark: _Hlk76365792;">Sandy was born
September 7, 1948 in Medford to Elaine (Gebert) and Clifford Zenner.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>She attended local schools and graduated from
Medford High School in 1966.</span> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="mso-bookmark: _Hlk76365792;">On April 15, 1967,
she married Gordon Bach at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Medford.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>They resided in Medford/Little Black where
Sandy worked as secretary, bookkeeper, business partner, manager, etc. at their
company, Bach Electric Inc.</span> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="mso-bookmark: _Hlk76365792;">Sandy enjoyed the
outdoors, camping, nature walks, bird watching and flowers. She always longed
to be at her cabin in the woods in Minocqua which she enjoyed going to for many
years. Her most cherished moments were those she spent with her grandsons.</span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="mso-bookmark: _Hlk76365792;">She was a member of Holy
Rosary Catholic Church and the American Legion Aux Post 519. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>She also helped with the school lunch program for
the Medford area public schools and worked as a volunteer at Aspirus Memorial
Health Center.</span> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="mso-bookmark: _Hlk76365792;">She is survived by
her husband Gordon of Little Black; daughter, Michele (fiancé Steve Lukes) Ellenbecker
of Abbottsford; son, Marc Bach of Eau Claire; siblings, Mary Mertes of Kaukauna,
Kurt (Lori) Zenner of Medford, Lee (Joyce) Zenner of Hastings, MN; grandsons,
Riley Bach of Medford, Alex Ellenbecker of Wausau, Trevor Ellenbecker of
Abbottsford; in laws, Joe (Betty) Bach of Little Black, Mary (Roy) Smock of
Milwaukee, Delores Bohn of Wausau, Cheryl Bach of Wausau, Larry Cypher of
Little Black; and many nieces and nephews.</span> </p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="mso-bookmark: _Hlk76365792;">She was preceded in
death by her parents; brothers-in-law, Dave Mertes, John Bach, and Bill Bohn;
and a sister-in-law, Linda Cypher.</span> </p>

at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Medford with the Rev. Rodger Prois officiating.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Burial will follow at Medford Evergreen I
Cemetery, Medford. </p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service
Thursday, July 8 at the church. </p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Emma was born May 15, 1925 at home in the town of Molitor to
Freda (Clausnitzer) and Henry Luethy.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">During WWII, Emma worked in Chicago assembling parachutes to
aid in the war effort.</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">On June 22, 1946, she married Louis “Louie” Kasparek.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>They had a dairy farm in<span style="color: red;"> </span>the town of Browning, where Emma worked alongside her
husband every day.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>They farmed their
entire married life until retirement. Emma enjoyed dancing, gardening,
knitting, puzzles, word searches, polka music, needlepoint, and cooking.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>She was a wonderful cook and will be
remembered for many delicious meals. </p>
<p class="MsoNormal">She is survived by her children, Velma Mann of Rib lake,
Allen (Diane) Kasparek of Medford, Donna (fiancé Paul Jensen) Kasparek of
Marshfield; grandchildren, Mark (Stefanie) Mann of Rib Lake, Todd (Jennilee)
Mann, Roger (Carrie) Mann, Amanda (fiancé, James Kurth) Kasparek, all of
Medford, Krista Fennell of Idaho; great-grandchildren, Andrew, Nicholas and
Annilee Mann, Roger Paul and Colletta Mann, Jordan (fiancée Mari) Mann, Cole (girlfriend,
Sydney) Mann, Kailee, Kenya, India, and Josiah Mann, Annika Drake and Dominic
Fennell; and one great-great-granddaughter, Brooklyn Mann. </p>
<p class="MsoNormal">She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Louie
in 1995; siblings, Frank, Paul, Emil, Herman, Otto, Fred, William and Carl
Schmeiser, Lydia Kleutsch, Elsie Pask, Walter Luethy and Clara Emstrom; son-in-law,
Lester Mann; and a son, Ronald Kasparek.<span style="color: red;"> </span></p>

"Bob" Eisner went to be with the Lord at his home in Rib Lake on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at age 89.99, with loved ones at his side. </div><div><br /></div><div>Bob was born in Park Falls, WI to John and MaryBelle (Dennee) Eisner on July 1, 1931. He was one of 10 children. He was living in Rib Lake in 1952 when he was drafted into the Army. While in Korea with Company C, 31st Infantry Regiment, he was hit in the neck with shrapnel and later awarded a Purple Heart. In 1954, he was honorably discharged and returned to Rib Lake and married Joan Probst on June 19, 1954. </div><div><br /></div><div>Bob was employed at Hurd Millwork in Medford for 46 years. In his free time he enjoyed woodworking, fishing, gardening, watching sports on TV and helping other people. As a young woman she enjoyed tending bar at various local taverns. She also loved to take care of children, and always had a special connection with her goddaughter Shelly. Janice married her husband in 1985, and became a farmer's wife. She was happiest when tending to her garden and animals. After her husband died, the friendships that she cultivated became very important to her. Karen and Donnie were two special people in her life that she often spoke of. Family also meant so much to her. She especially loved to have long conversations over the phone with her sister Sherri. Janice was beloved by all who knew her.</p><p>Janice is survived by her sister Sherri Vlach and partner Melody Krapf of Taneytown, Maryland; her niece Kara Gonzalez of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; her aunt Barb Moen of Elgin, Illinois; her stepson Roger Mittenzwei of Marathon, Wisconsin; her stepdaughter Linda Pettit of Morton, Illinois; and her many cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents Victor and Doris Vlach, and her four brothers Vernon, Galen, Jerry and Ronnie. </p><p>Per Janice’s wish a small and private graveside service only, for close family and friends will be held on Wednesday, July 7th at 3:00 pm, at Molitor Catholic Cemetery in Molitor. <p class="MsoNormal">Nicole
was born September 30, 1981 in Medford to Laurie (Kropp) and David Lavin. She
graduated from Medford High School, class of 2000. Nicole went on to earn
her B.S. degree in Elementary Education from UW-Stevens Point, and her Master’s
degree in Education from Marian University. <o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">On
June 24, 2006, Nicole married Simon Buechel at OLPH in Whittelsey. They
resided in Stetsonville where Nicole taught 2<sup>nd</sup> grade at
Stetsonville Elementary School. <o:p></o:p></p>

had many interests and was always up for anything. Summer was her
favorite season and she loved to be on the water and to travel (especially if a
beach was involved). While on vacation, she was often found floating on a
tube soaking in the sun. She enjoyed cheering on the Chicago Bears and
the Milwaukee Brewers; watching Seinfeld (she knew every line of every
episode!); playing games of all kinds; boat rides on the lake; being outdoors;
and she was an avid reader. All of these things paled in comparison to
the love she had for her family, especially her two beloved children Marshall
and Brooke. Nicole cherished time with them and loved being their mom.<o:p></o:p><p></p>

will be dearly missed by her husband, Simon of Stetsonville; children, Marshall
Matthew and Brooke Therese, both at home; parents, Dave and Laurie Lavin of
Stetsonville; brother, Dan Lavin of Medford; mother and father-in-law, Lorie
(William) Schmitz of Lake Havasu, AZ, Merlin Buechel of Medford; maternal
grandparents, Rodney and Mary Ann Kropp of Rib lake; paternal grandmother,

Per her wishes, no services will be held. The remains will be interred at Pine
Hill Cemetery near Curtiss, WI. <p></p><p class="MsoNormal">Audrey was born October 30, 1936, the daughter of Herman and
Irene (Neibacher) Klocke. She attended Brady School north of Curtiss prior to
graduating from Owen High School in 1953. She worked in Los Angeles and
Milwaukee until 1963, when she moved to rural Owen. Her experience working at
Dr. Morgan Elliss's office gave her a start in medical transcription when she
moved to Milton, Wisconsin in 1980. She continued working as a medical
transcriptionist until May 2011. </p><p class="MsoNormal">She earned certification through the American Association
for Medical Transcription in 1986 and maintained certification until her first
brief retirement in 2001. While a member of AAMT she wrote a book review column
for their journal, was a member of the editorial review board for JAAMT, served
on the committee for the certification program, and contributed to the <i>AAMT
Book of Style</i>.</p><p class="MsoNormal">An award-winning photographer and author, Audrey edited the
in-house newsletter when she was employed at Janesville Riverview Clinic and
the newsletter for the Capital Area Chapter of AAMT. In addition to short
stories and articles she wrote and published two novellas of historical
fiction. </p><p class="MsoNormal">Audrey is survived by her husband, Norman Dale Heintz. They
were married May 4, 1985, at Hope Lutheran Church in Milton, where they lived
until moving to Yuma Arizona in 1992. In 2011 they returned to Wisconsin,
making their summer apartment in Medford their permanent home. She is also
survived by her children, Mark Remus, Elizabeth Remus Anderson, James (Nancy)
Lulloff, Jr., Michael (Joette) Lulloff, Matthew (Kristin) Lulloff, her
stepdaughters Susan Lyter, Amy Schwarz Quinn, and Jennifer Quade, and their
families. She is further survived by her brother Gary Klocke. </p><p class="MsoNormal">In addition to
her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandson Solomon Remus on March
11, 2008, her brother Bruce Klocke on July 18, 2005, and her sister-in-law

(Mellberg) and Irving “Pete” Peterson. </p>
<p class="MsoNormal">On September 27, 1952, she married Harold “Otto” Klessig at
St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Institute, WI. While residing in
Door County, Donna waitressed at the Leathem Smith Lodge in Sturgeon Bay. She
and her family moved to Ogema in 1974, where she and Otto owned and operated
Klessig’s Kountry Kitchen for many years. </p>
<p class="MsoNormal">In her younger years, Donna loved to ballroom dance and
snowmobile. She also enjoyed cooking, baking and sewing. She will
be remembered for her quick wit, charm, and Lucille Ball-like
goofiness…Donna was a character and easily put a smile on everyone’s face. </p>
<p class="MsoNormal">She was a longtime member of St. John the Baptist Catholic
Church in Prentice. </p>
<p class="MsoNormal">She is survived by her children, Linda (Brad Nelson) Weber
of Ogema, Robert (Cindy) Klessig of Merrill, Sharon (Gerald) Hause of Ogema,
James (Cheryl) Klessig of Maple Falls, WA; sisters, Geraldine Sargent of
Sturgeon Bay, Karen (Gene) Utecht of Eau Claire, Faye Peterson of Eau Claire;
sister-in-law, Jeanne Lattimer of Sturgeon Bay; seven grandchildren; 12
great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. </p>

Klinner’s Accounting, then the Medford Coop.<span style="mso-spacerun: yes;">
</span>She also did accounting work part time for the Taylor County Treasurer’s
Office and the Valu Rite/Healthmart Pharmacy, until ill health forced her
retirement in the fall of 2019.</span><o:p></o:p></p>

an active member of her community and served as secretary/treasurer for the

Trinity Lutheran Church where she served in many capacities over the

with friends, going to the casino, spending time with her family and working on
