PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: At the age of 12 Jack moved from Cicero, IL with his family to the Stetsonville, WI and later moved to Medford. During High School Jack participated in Golden Glove Boxing in Marshfield and Milwaukee and after graduating from Medford High School he signed with the Philadelphia Phillies and the Kansas City Royals as a Minor League Shortstop. In 1958 he began working at Adolph’s Barber Shop in Colby and then in 1960 he began working at Wally’s Barber Shop in Medford until his retirement in 2007. Jack was a lifelong fan of bowling, golfing, baseball and football. He refereed many basketball games throughout Northern Wisconsin. Jack was a fun loving husband, father, and grandfather. He enjoyed life to the fullest.

He emigrated to the Owen area in 1964 where he farmed until moving to a farm in the township of Holway in 1992. While farming he also worked at the Abbyland Pork Plant in Curtiss for a period of time.
