Henry owned and operated his own logging business for all of his adult life. They owned and operated a dairy farm in the Town of Medford until 1971. He also worked for the Taylor County Highway Department for a short time. Henry enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, watching birds, camping, digging ponds, and tinkering in his shop. He enjoyed polka music, especially Big Joe and Molly B.

He loved nature and working outdoors. He enjoyed 4-wheeling, snowmobiling, watching the packers, his good sense of humor and being a family man, especially spending time with his grandchildren.

Friday, July 19 at the First Baptist Church, Medford with Rev Grant Brown, Hospice Chaplain, officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until the time of services at 4:00 P.M. Friday, July 19 at First Baptist Church, Medford with burial to follow at Medford Evergreen II Cemetery, Medford. Pallbearers will be Jerry and Jesse Frey, Sean Bryant, Chris Dearth, Jody and Raymond Davis.
Gerald W. Frey was born on May 11, 1922 in the Town of Browning to William and Wanda (Schmoldt) Frey. He was a 1940 graduate of Medford High School and also attended North Central Technical College, Medford.
On October 28, 1944 at Dorchester he married Delores Tischendorf and she preceded him in death on December 31, 1979. 2nd marriage was on December 2, 1983 at Athens to Patricia Blake and she preceded him in death on December 18, 2002. 3rd marriage to Annabel Seidl was on October 20, 2003 and she preceded him in death on February 18, 2004 and 4th marriage was on March 19, 2005 at Vancleave, Mississippi to Doris Schloss and she preceded him in death in 2008. He was a lifelong dairy farmer in Stetsonville. Jerry also worked for the U.S. Forest Service and a grader patrolman for the Town of Little Black. He enjoyed square and polka dancing. Jerry was an avid reader. Former member of Zion Ev. Lutheran Church, Stetsonville and served on the Pleasant View Cheese Factory board.
Surviving to cherish his memory are sons: Dennis (Linda) of Lucedale, Mississippi and David ( Mary) of Stetsonville; daughters: Dianne (Raymond) Davis of Lucedale, Mississippi, Darla (Ken) Carrio of Saraland, Alabama and Doreen (Jim) Fierke of Stetsonville; 15 Grandchildren and 26 Great-Grandchildren.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents; his wives; sister Evelyn McGuire; brothers Victor and Vernon; Son-In-Law Johnnie Bryant.
