After his marriage, they moved to Detroit and then to Medford in 1973 where he had a private medical practice until his retirement. He pastored a church in Medford for many years and wrote books in Slovak to minister to his homeland. He enjoyed writing and his ministry.

Mary enjoyed shopping and jewelry, she loved to travel and be outdoors. Mary also loved and cherished her family and friends.

PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: US Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. After his marriage, they resided in Milwaukee and he worked at Allis Chalmers for a period of time. After his education, he taught elementary education in Pell Lake, WI schools while residing in Lake Geneva. They moved to Medford and he taught school & was a principal in the Owen school district for a period of time. During the summer months, he worked concrete construction in the Thorp area. They farmed in the Town of Holway and did area real estate work for periods of time. In retirement he delivered parts for Northwest Trucks. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking, drawing, fishing, hunting, traveling, social talking, making chili & spending time with his family.
