ELSIE "ANNE" BECKER

Elsie “Anne” Becker, 93, of Medford, passed away Thursday March 30, 2017 at Aspirus Care and Rehab in Medford.
Anne was born July 8, 1923 in Duluth, MN to Paul and Anna (Grickyak) Prisuda.
She married Otto Becker on July 8, 1942, and he preceded her in death on May 12, 2011.
Anne is survived by her daughter Georgia (Len) Symoniak of Medford, Grandchildren: Sandi (Dave) Helgeson of Granton, Shelli (Todd) Niewolny of Medford, Brenda Johnas of Merrill, Teri Jo (Chris) Schipper of Ankeny, IA, Rudolph Johnas of Merrill, 17 Great Grandchildren and 11 Great Great Grandchildren.
She is preceded further in death by her Parents, daughter Leona (Johnas) Fainper Brothers Mike, Steve and Matt, Sister Hellen Knudson, and Grandson James Johnas.
Anne’s parents passed in 1927 when Anne was 4. She then was put in St. Rose’s Catholic Orpganage in Milwaukee, and graduated from Messner High School in 1941. After graduation she worked at St. Mary’s hospital in the laundry department. Then went on to Halprog Stocking Co. Otto and Anne also owned their own dairy, beef and bee farm, which Anne was a big part of.
She enjoyed reading, embroidery, baking, dancing and spending time in her garden and flowers.
Per Anne’s request, cremation rites have been accorded and no services will be held.

PATRICIA A. HAJDZIONA

Patricia A. Hajdziona, 77, of Rib Lake, passed away at her home on Tuesday March 28, 2017, under the care of Hope Hospice.
Patricia was born March 3, 1940 in Bloomer ,WI to Palmer and Miannetta (Wiggins) Olson. She married Eugene Hajdziona in Gogebic, MI in July of 1974. Eugene precedes her in death.
Pat is survived by her Children: Jean (John) Sneider of Salem, Judy (Dan) Schultz of Columbus, 6 Grandchildren, 4 Great Grandchildren, Siblings: Jo (Jerry) Poncek of Medford, Barb Olson of Medford, Elmer Olson of Medford, Jerry Olson of Mankato, MN, Delmar Olson of Coos Bay, OR, and Palmer Olson, Jr. of Indianapolis, IN.
She is further preceded by her Parents, Brother Melvin Olson, Infant Brother Robert Olson, and Sister Mary White.
Pat’s family moved to Kenosha in 1942, and then to Chelsea in 1946. She attended Westboro High School, and then went on to help run the family farm. She then moved to Virginia in 1961, then Texas in 1963, and then to Waukesha, WI where she worked at Automatic Electric as a wire relay assembler. She then moved to Hazelhurst where she was employed as a coil winder for 2 years at Electromel. In 1973, she moved back to Waukesha and worked for several years as an oil filler. She then went on to own and operate her own upholstery shop in Stone Bank. In 1986 they moved to the Rib Lake area and worked for Phillips Plastics for 7 years, and Great Northern Cabinetry for 2 ½ years. She then worked at Rib Lake Health Center for 8 years as a cook, and retired from there in 2003. She then went on to tend bar and cook at the Frosted Mug from 2003 – 2007.
Pat had a passion for horses and always dreamed of owning her own ranch one day. She loved to play softball, darts and pool. She was a veracious reader and an excellent singer. She enjoyed crocheting, especially making sweaters and blankets.
A memorial visitation will be held from 5 PM until 6:30 PM, Monday, April 3, 2017 at Hemer Funeral Home, Rib Lake Chapel. A time of remembrance and story sharing will take place at 6:30. Cremation rites have been accorded.
Memorial donations in honor of Pat can be given to Hope Hospice and Palliative Care.

PRINCIPLE EVENTS IN LIFE: After his education, he worked at Mc Donald’s and Nicolet Bank in Medford. He was presently working as a manager at Briq’s Soft Serve in Wausau and was also a student at UW-Marathon County. He enjoyed animals, travel, spending time with family and friends.

MARY K. BOHMBACH

Mary K. Bohmbach, 46, of Medford passed away on Saturday, March 25 at home. She was born on October 6, 1970 to John and Candy Bohmbach in Chicago, IL. She graduated from Rib Lake High School in 1989. She worked for Maple Island, Wal-Mart, and most recently Weather Shield until her passing.

Mary enjoyed life. She would spend her time gardening and planting flowers, tending bar, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Mary is survived by her mother Candy (Fred Sherman) Bohmbach of Doniphan, MO; sister, Jackie (Nol) Thums of Westboro; brother, Larry (Jackie) Bohmbach of Rib Lake; stepsisters, Billi Jo Butler and Jodi Johnson; nieces, Ashley (Lon), Makayla, Tailor, and Erin; nephews, Scott Jr. and Evan. She is further survived by her significant other Tony Szalkus, his daughter Samantha (Chris) Shotliff, and their children Arawyn and Amaya; stepmother Louise McBaine; special friend Tessa Hoffman and many other family and friends.

Mary is preceded in death by her father, John Bohmbach and her grandparents.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be given to the family for a future designation.

JUNE A. STIEL

June A. Stiel, 84, of Rib Lake, passed away at her home on March 20, 2017 surrounded by her family and under the loving care of Hope Hospice.
June was born June 18, 1932 in Rib Lake to Ralph and Alice (Johnson) St. Clair. She married Leo C. Stiel on December 13, 1952 at St. John’s Catholic Church. Leo passed away May 31, 1994.
She is survived by her Children: Sandy (Damian) Jones of Westboro, Matthew (Louise) Stiel of Rib Lake, Mary Stiel of Chicago, Therese (James) Walters of Rib Lake, 11 Grandchildren, 4 Step Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren and numerous cousins.
June is further preceded in death by her Parents and Infant brother Kenneth.
June worked for Gem Products Shoe Factory in Rib Lake, and met her Husband Leo there. She then became a homemaker and raised her children. June went back to work for Brothers Two and was a wood worker in the factory. She enjoyed needlework, artist, sewing, knitting, crocheting, and baking cookies for her grandchildren. She loved adventures, especially spending Sunday afternoons on a drive with her husband and children, not knowing exactly where the road would lead them.
She was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Christian Mothers and Good Shepherd Knitters.
A memorial mass will be held at 11 AM, Friday March 24, 2017 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Rib Lake. Father Otto Bucher will officiate. Burial of cremated remains will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Rib Lake. A Rosary service will be held at 9 AM Friday, visitation will follow from 9:30 until the time of Mass at 11 AM.
In honor of June, the family has requested memorial donations be given to Hope Hospice or Good Shepherd Catholic Church.

He enjoyed hobby farming, horse sales, model trains, gun shows, hunting, fishing and traveling.

SURVIVING SPOUSE: His partner since 1984 and present wife, Shirley A. Kreuscher of the Town of Holway
