She also spent her winters in Texas for 20 years. She worked as an insurance agent for State Farm Agency in Ladysmith and Knight Insurance Agency in Menomonie for periods of time. She also worked as a church secretary at Our Lady of Sorrow in Ladysmith for a period of time. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, shuffleboard, swimming, visiting casinos, and family get togethers (especially at the Mondeaux Flowage).

ARLENE B. HOFFMAN
Arlene B.
Hoffman, 81, of Athens, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at Aspirus Care
and Rehab in Medford. She was born on August 8, 1936 to Marvin and Lydia
(Hoffmann) Krueger. She married Wayne Hoffman on October 22, 1960, he survives.
She was educated at rural schools in the Rib Falls area. She worked most of her
life as a homemaker.
In her spare
time she enjoyed knitting, crocheting, beadwork, quilting, playing cards, doing
word searches, and going out for ice cream.
In addition
to her husband, Arlene is survived by her children, Dawn (Ken) Matyka, Jill
(Craig) Paul, and Scott Hoffman; grandchildren, Alex (Camille) Matyka, Reid
Matyka, Eliza Matyka, Ryan Paul, Brett Paul, and Nevaeh Hoffman, and one great
grandchild on the way. She is further survived by her brothers, Gary and Ronnie
Krueger; sisters, Marilyn (Sylvester) Lipinksi, Donna (David) Weisenburger,
Lorraine Hoeft, and Leila (Roger) Graveen.
In addition
to her parents she is preceded in death by her brother Russell and daughter
Judy, both in infancy.
Funeral services
for Arlene will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at Zion
Lutheran Church in Stetsonville, with Rev. Richard Russow officiating; burial
will follow at Zion Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Tuesday,
October 31 at Zion Lutheran Church from 9:00 AM until the time of service at
11:00AM.

JERRY W. ANDERSON
Jerry W.
Anderson, 67, of Medford, passed away on October 25, 2017 at Aspirus Hospital in
Wausau. Jerry was born on June 8, 1950 to Floyd and Crystal (Redwine) Anderson
in Medford. He was educated in Medford. After his education he served in the
Marines from 1968 until 1972. He married Cathy Krebsbach on December 30, 1972,
she survives. Jerry worked for Wisconsin Equipment for 5 years. He then went on
to work at the Taylor County Sheriff’s Department, first as a jailer/dispatcher,
then as a deputy, and finally back as a jailer until his retirement. During his
time at the Sheriff’s Department he also drove bus and mowed lawn at Tee-HI.
In his spare
time Jerry enjoyed golfing, scoring a hole in one on hole 2 at Tee-Hi,
cribbage, going to the casino, hunting, and fishing.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his
daughter Wendy (Pete) Doorn of South Milwaukee, son Chris (Stephanie Quednow)
Anderson of Medford and grandchildren Katie and Xak Doorn. He is further
survived by his sister Mildred (Bill) Heier of Lublin, brother-in-law Richard Frahmann
of Medford, cousin Clarice Heier of Medford, brothers and sisters in law, and
many other nieces and nephews.
In addition
to his parents he is preceded in death by his sister Marion.
A Mass of Christian
Burial will take place at 11:00 AM on Monday, October 30 at Holy Rosary
Catholic Church, Medford with Father Phil Juza officiating. Visitation will
take place on Sunday, October 29 at Hemer Funeral Home, Medford from 2:00 PM
until 5:00 PM, when a rosary service will take place. Visitation will continue
of Monday, October 30 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at
Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
In lieu of
flowers, memorial donations in Jerry’s name may be given to the family for use
at a later designation.

EVELYN J. WALL

She was born May 17, 1928 in Verndale, Minnesota to Carl and
Susannah (Lambert) Jasmer. She is a graduate of Withee High School. She married
Frank Wall at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Withee on September 27, 1947. He preceded her in death in
November of 1989.
Evelyn is survived by her Children: Gloria (Dan) Gibbon of
Medford, Bonnie (Sonny) Dembraski of Bruce Crossing, MI, Larry (Traci) Wall of
Stephenson, MI and Michael Wall of Lublin. Grandchildren: Krisan Bastil, Kurt
Gibbon, Ginger Hanson, Bruce Dembraski, Cari Loveland, Fred Dembraski, Ben
Dembraski, Joe Wall, Rob Wall, Christopher Wall, numerous great Grandchildren, Siblings:
Milo Jasmer of Medford, Caroline Nicpon of Barron, and many nieces and nephews.
She is further preceded in death by her Parents, 3 Sisters:
Doris Cardinal, Alvera Anderson, Marie Sherwood, 3 Brothers: Vernon, Lorn and
Dale Jasmer.
As a child she moved with her parents to the Town of
Maplehurst, Taylor County, in 1938. After high school she was employed at the
Riverside Hotel in Medford. Following her marriage to Frank, they moved to the Town
of Roosevelt until 1971. In 1970, she and her husband started the Wall Sales
& Service at their home where they dealt in fire and safety equipment. Until recently, she
served as secretary for the business, now run by her son Michael.
She enjoyed birdwatching and gardening, especially caring for flowers and
the beautiful pond and waterfall her husband had made for her. In September of
2016 she moved from the family farm near Lublin to Medford. Evelyn dearly loved her family,
and enjoyed spending time with them at the year "Camp-ins" and "Camp-outs" she organized.
Evelyn was a member of the Thorp Congregation of Jehovah’s
Witnesses since 1959, and the Dorchester Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses
since 2016.
Cremation rites have been accorded, and a memorial service will be
held at 1:00 PM, Saturday November 11, 2017 at the Thorp Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Burial of her cremated remains will take place at the Thorp East Side
Cemetery.

GEORGIANA E. PEABODY
Georgiana E. Peabody, 102, of Westboro, passed away on
Tuesday, October 17, 2017, at Aspirus Care and Rehab in Medford. Georgiana was
born on September 15, 1915, in Chicago, IL to George and Esther (Johnson) Ritter.
She graduated from Lucy Flower High School, an all girl school dedicated to
students with artistic and musical talents. While in Chicago she studied art at
the Art Institute and piano at the Busch Conservatory. She also received a two
year degree from Wright Junior College.
Shortly after college she came to Westboro to help care for
her aging grandmother. It was while she lived here she met her future husband,
Kenneth Peabody. They were married in Rib Lake on August 17, 1940. Shortly
after their marriage they moved to Wausau. After a stint at Employers Mutual
Insurance she returned to college and earned an elementary education degree
from Stevens Point State College. She taught 5th grade at St. James
Catholic School until her retirement.
After they retired the Peabodys returned to Westboro and
enjoyed growing vegetables. Throughout her life Georgiana enjoyed painting and
playing piano. She also liked reading (nonfiction) and doing crossword puzzles.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her
husband Kenneth in July of 1986, her brother, John Ritter Sr. and his wife,
Martha, her sister Jane Estillore and her husband Tony, and a brother Charles
as a young child, and her brother’s children Lucy Sinks and John Ritter Jr.,
both in 2016.
She is survived by one daughter, Nancy Kelly of East Palatka,
FL, one granddaughter, Katrina Vaugh of Fitzgerald, GA, one
great-granddaughter, Karsyn Vaughn and one great-grandson, David Vaughn, both
of Fitzgerald, GA.
In keeping with her wishes no funeral services will be held.
Following cremation, her ashes will be placed wither her husband at Mt. Olive
Cemetery in Westboro.

ADRIENNE A. HENNLICH

Adrienne A. Hennlich, age 84, former Medford resident passed
away peacefully with family on October 14th, 2017 at Dove Healthcare West
Reflections Unit in Eau Claire, Wisconsin.
A visitation will be held at the Hemer Funeral Home in Medford
on Wednesday, October 18th, from 5:00-7:00 PM. A Rosary Service will be held at 7:00 PM by nephew, Deacon Dallas Carlson. Visitation will continue on October 19th from 9:30 AM till the time of service at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. A funeral mass will be held at
10:00 AM on October 19th, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Father
David Neuschwander officiating. Interment will follow at Dorchester Memorial Cemetery in
Dorchester, Wisconsin.
Adrienne was born on September 15th, 1933 to Richard and
Demerise Grzadzieleski in Drayton, North Dakota. She attended Drayton schools.
After high school graduation Adrienne moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota and graduated
with a degree in medical technology. Adrienne then moved to Medford and was
employed by the Medford Clinic as a laboratory technician. During this time,
she met the love of her life William Bill Hennlich. Bill and Adrienne were
married on June 22nd, 1963 in Drayton ND.
Adrienne loved spending time with and caring for her family.
Her interests included history, interior decorating and art. After her
retirement from the Medford Clinic she worked as curator at the Taylor County
Historical Society, where she was also a member. Adrienne also volunteered in a
reading program through the Medford Area School District and was known as one
of the grandmas. She was an active member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church and
many Sundays was a greeter. Adrienne enjoyed her Saturday coffee group with
friends. She adored and was most proud of her granddaughter Hannah Buchholz.
"Grammy" will be so missed.
Adrienne is survived by her daughter Margaret (Allen)
Buchholz, Fall Creek, Wisconsin. Granddaughter Hannah Buchholz, La Crosse
Wisconsin. Her sister Claris (Carl) Peterson, Arizona. A sister in law Alice
Grzadzieleski North Dakota. Sister and brother in law Janice and Connie
Diesing, Brookfield, Wisconsin, Sister in law Joan (late Jerry) Baker,
Dorchester Wisconsin, Sister in law Dorothy (late Bob) Forseth, and Brother in law James (Patricia) Hennlich of Colby. In addition to many nieces and nephews.
Adrienne was preceded in death by William Hennlich, her
parents, a sister Janice (Dallas) Carlson, and brother Harris Grzadzieleski.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Adrienne's name may be made to the
Alzheimer's Association, Alz.org for care, support, research, awareness, and
advocacy activities.
