PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: Wayne served in the U.S. Army from 1954-1956. He worked for Midway in Medford as a lineman for a short period of time. Wayne also worked for E.J. Crane Feed Mill in Medford and also during this time he worked for Damm Brother’s Sawmill, Medford and Schuster Construction, Medford. He then began working at Hurd in Medford until his retirement. Shorty was an avid fisherman and bowler. He enjoyed throwing horseshoes and playing cards, especially sheep head and smear. Shorty all enjoyed attending ball games.

Then they moved to Medford in 1987 and he worked at Biewer Saw Mill in Prentice until retirement. He enjoyed fishing, gardening & dancing.

PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: After his education, he entered the US Army where he served from 1974-1978. After the service, he worked various jobs in the Sheldon & Jump River areas. He moved to Medford and worked as a carpenter for George Jessick Construction for a period of time. In 1999 he started Bob Miller Construction which he owned and operated until the time of his death. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting, fishing, motorcycle riding & spending time with his family & friends.
