EDUCATION: Attended Roosevelt School in Perkinstown
MARRIAGE INFORMATION: February 11, 1946 in Winona, MN to Ella P. Emstrom and she survives
PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: Ted served in the U.S. Army as a Special Honor Guard in Japan. He helped guard Emperor Hirohito from 1946 to 1947. He also shot over US soldiers’ gravesites at the US cemetery in Nagasaki. After completing his military service, Ted owned and operated a dairy farm in Perkinstown from 1947-1966. During this time he also did logging for numerous years. Ted also worked for Ed Hong Road Construction in Eau Claire as a heavy machine operator until his retirement in 1998. He also served as Supervisor for the Town of Grover for two years. Ted enjoyed hunting, woodworking, digging wild ginseng, fishing and making maple syrup.
He will be dearly missed by his wife, Ella P. Fischer of Medford

2 Sons: Ted (Dawn) Fischer of Port Washington and Ned (Janet) Fischer of Jim Falls
