PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: After school Carol worked at Tiny Tot in Merrill where she assembled baby cribs and met her husband. After her marriage she worked as a nurse’s aide at the Golden Living Center, Rib Lake for 15 years. Ken and Carol purchased and operated multiple taverns in Taylor County, where she was currently bartending at the Bird’s Nest in Rib Lake at the time of her death. She enjoyed babysitting, playing cards, gambling, feeding and watching the birds. Carol loved to socialize.
