PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: Bob served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict from 1951-1953. After his time in the service he worked at the U.S. Post Office in LaGrange, Illinois for about a year in a half. Bob worked as a cable splicer, where he was then promoted Manager and then became State Supervisor for Illinois Bell Telephone Company in Chicago for 34 years until his retirement in 1985. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, gardening and reading about history. Bob was an avid Bears fan and die hard Chicago Cubs fan.
