PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: They moved to the Town of Deer Creek from South Dakota in 1960 and farmed there from 1960 until 1982. While farming, she was an activity aide at Memorial Nursing Home and worked at Taylor County Human Services. They were foster parents to newborns awaiting adoptions and later to troubled teenagers. She was devoted to the Pro-Life movement and enjoyed many artistic endeavors such as painting, sculptures, ceramics, enjoyed baking bread, seamstress work, knitting & crocheting.
