EDUCATION: Jim attended Stetsonville and Medford Area Schools and graduated from Medford Area High School in 1952
He Graduated from UW-Madison with a B.A. Degree in Accounting and received his CPA Certification in 1961
MARRIAGE: April 19, 1958 in Sheboygan to Shirley M. Kremer
PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: Jim served in the U.S. Air Force from 1957 to 1960. He then worked for R.W. Klinner & Associates, CPA’s, from 1960 to 1972 in Medford, Marshfield and Merrill. Jim then joined Weather Shield MFG., Inc. in 1972, serving as Chief Financial Officer and Director until his retirement in May of 2000. He was an avid golfer and Packer fan. Jim enjoyed traveling the United States and other countries. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.
MEMBER OF: Immanuel Ev. Lutheran Church, the AICPA and WICPA Associations, Medford Library Foundation where he served on the Board of Directors and as Treasurer, Tee-Hi Golf Course Board of Directors and Black River Golf Club. Former member of Memorial Health Center Board of Directors, Memorial Health Center Member Association Board, Medford Lions Club where he served as past president and the Medford Curling Club.
