DATE & PLACE OF BIRTH: July 20, 1918 on the family homestead in Westboro

EDUCATION: Attended grade school in Westboro and Rib Lake High School

MARRIAGE: August 22, 1938 in Pine City, Minnesota to Roy J. Spieles and he preceded her in death on March 19, 1991

PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: They homesteaded on the John Spieles old farm and celebrated their 50th Anniversary there. June spent 34 years selling Christmas trees in Fort Atkinson. She was a songwriter and story teller. June was an avid garage seller and loved nature and the outdoors.

MEMBER OF: North American Hunting Club, National Trappers Association, Taylor County Historical Society and St. Theresa N.C.C.W. Society and Choir. She also traveled to Alaska four times and was a member of the Alaska Geographic Society. June also served as Secretary for the Westboro Centennial in 1974-1975.
