Donna M. Schriener, age 65, passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Donna was born on August 24, 1950 in Merrill to Gilbert and Muriel (Hopperdietzel) Berghammer. She attended Athens Grade School and graduated from Athens Area High School. On June 6, 1970 at St. Anthony Church in Athens Donna married Ronald H. Schreiner and he survives. Donna worked at Edgar Basket Factory in Edgar for a period of time before opening a day care facility in Medford. She enjoyed playing the piano and singing, board games and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Medford and former member of St. Anthony’s Church in Athens. In addition to her husband, Donna is further survived by her children, Audra Schreiner, Bill Schreiner both of Medford and Crystal (Duane) Rudolph of Weyerhaeuser, grandchildren, Joshua and Tierra Rudolph of Weyerhaeuser, brothers & sisters, Lola (Lester) Lendrum of Weston, Margo Simpson of Madison, Gayle (Joe) Brewer of Henagar, AL, Ryen (Brenda) Berghammer of Henagar, AL, Sue (Dale) Wisnewski of Rib Mountain, and Amy (Kim) Christians of Wautoma, brothers & sisters in law, Shirley (John) Daniels of Athens, Clyde (Ann) Schreiner of Largo, FL, Mike (Joyce) Schreiner of Branson, MI and Norbert Daniels of Athens. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed & Ester Schreiner, and sister in law Jeanette Daniels. Services for Donna will be at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Hemer Funeral Home of Medford with Deacon Joseph Stefancin officiating. Visitation will take place from 9:00 A.M. until time of services at 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Hemer Funeral Home in Medford. Cremainal Inurnment will take place at Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery in Medford.
