Marjorie F. Knippel, 92, currently of Medford, formerly of
Yuma, AZ passed away at Deerview Meadows in Medford, August 31, 2016.
Marjorie was born March 16, 1924 to Adolph and Laura (Kiel)
Kreie. She was a graduate of Medford Sr. High School. She married Clyde Knippel
on May 2, 1945. Clyde preceded her in death August 4, 2005.
While living in Richmond, Illinois, Marjorie and Clyde owned
and operated a jewelry store, she later worked at Admiral Factory where they
made television sets. After retiring, they moved back to Medford for a number
of years. They loved to travel the United States in their motor home. Marjorie
and Clyde took root in Yuma, AZ for over twenty years, where they both enjoyed
the warm, dry weather. Upon Clyde’s death, Marjorie moved back to Wisconsin.
Marjorie also enjoyed knitting, crocheting, embroidery,
reading and birdwatching.
Marjorie is survived by three sisters in law, and several
nieces and nephews. She is further preceded in death by her Parents, one
Brother, three Sisters, and an infant son.
Cremation rites have been accorded, and a private memorial
service will take place at a later date. Interment will take place at Medford
Evergreen Cemetery I.
