VISITATION: Visitation will take place at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Whittlesey on Wednesday, September 14, from 4:00 PM until the time of a rosary service at 7:00 PM. Visitation will continue at the church on Thursday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM
DATE & PLACE OF BIRTH: She was born in the Town of Chelsea on February 13, 1918
EDUCATION: She was a graduate of Whittlesey Grade School, Medford High School, Taylor County Normal School and UW-Stevens Point where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree.
MARRIAGE: Married Walter M. Tlusty on June 30, 1938 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Whittlesey. He preceded her in death on September 6, 2011
PRINCIPLE EVENTS IN LIFE: She taught elementary school in Taylor County, Colby, and Dorchester schools. She was instrumental in promoting the newspaper as a classroom teaching tool. She enjoyed family, nature, reading, traveling, and working with youngsters in school and church. She also enjoyed playing cards, gardening, ice fishing, and crocheting.
MEMBER OF: Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Whittlesey, where she taught CCD and sang in the choir.
SURVIVING CHILDREN: Judith (Richard) Mercier of Ashland, Robert of Wauwatosa, Mary (Ronald) Mauer of Delafield, and John (Annette) of Medford
