Bruce was born on November 3, 1949 to Vernon and Grace
(Wegerer) Paul in Medford. He was educated at Medford schools and graduated
from Medford High School in 1967. He then went to NTC and earned his associate
degree. He went to work for Jarp Manufacturing for a few years, before starting
Paul’s Upholstery in Stetsonville. He then went to work for Parrett Manufacturing
until his retirement. He married Patricia Fobes on August 17, 1968, they were
later divorced. He married Susan Glamann on July 21, 1993, she survives.
Bruce was also assistant fire chief of the Stetsonville Fire
Department for many years. In his spare time he enjoyed shooting guns, hunting,
woodworking, and reloading ammo.
In addition to his wife, Bruce is survived by his son, Mike
(RaShel) Paul of Medford, step-daughter Sara (Cody) Dickrell of Milladore,
grandchildren, Megan and Emma Paul, step-grandchildren Charlie and Blaze
Dickrell, and siblings, Roger Paul of Hubertus, Lee (Karen) Paul and Tammy
(Denny) Frey both of Medford. Bruce is further survived by many nieces,
nephews, and other family and friends.
Bruce is preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a celebration of life
will be held at the Centennial hall in Stetsonville on November 9, 2019 from 12:00 pm until 3:00 PM.
Memorial donations may be given to the family for use at a
later date.
