PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: After his education he served in the US Marines 1954-1956 during the Korean Conflict. After the military, he did logging work, worked at Frischmann’s Garage, Ruesch Furniture & Frey Flooring for periods of time. From 1967 until retirement in 1997 he owned & operated Ralph’s Carpet Service. They also operated a turkey farm in the township of Deer Creek for a period of time. He took care of the Legion ballpark beer stand in Stetsonville for 10 years, and the Centennial Community Center, Stetsonville storage unit from 1998 to the present time. He enjoyed making firewood and watching the birds.

She enjoyed crafts, sewing, cross country skiing, her grandchildren, her children’s activities, and in her earlier years, she enjoyed the cottage in northern WI.

He enjoyed annually attending the 6th Armored Division reunions held nationally. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching football.

Lawrence was an avid reader and enjoyed playing cards, traveling and going on bus tours. He also enjoyed going to Dinner Theater Shows.
