PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: After her education she worked in Milwaukee for a period of time. She moved to Rib Lake and worked at the Rib Lake Shoe Factory. After marriage they farmed in the town of Spirit until 1971 when they returned to Rib Lake. She then worked as a nurses aid at the Rib Lake Health Care Center until ill health forced her retirement. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, crocheting, animals, fishing, watching movies, rock n roll music, and spending time with her family.

PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: Vera worked at Francis Willard Hospital until 1938, where she met her husband, Rudolph. In 1945, they moved to a home on Macky Spur Road. In 1965 she started working for the Prentice School District in the kitchen, until her retirement in 1980. She enjoyed baking, helping in the church kitchen for any occasion. Vera also enjoyed traveling, birds, helping others and visiting with neighbors.

They also fostered 5 children. She enjoyed family life. Delores enjoyed gardening, fishing, playing cards and visiting with friends and family.
