PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: They farmed in Spencer from 1948-1955, then resided in the Town of Goodrich, and later moved to the Town of Chelsea. Mary was a loving wife and mother. She enjoyed her cats, canning, cooking, gardening, fishing, camping, crocheting, watching the Minnesota Vikings and the BIG JOE Polka Show. She enjoyed reading medical articles and books. Mary enjoyed playing the dice game, "Chicken", where she was the “Judge!”

He enjoyed traveling, reading and socializing with friends & family.

PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: When she was a child she helped on the family dairy farm with her siblings. At the age of 18 she moved to Chicago and worked as an assembler at Guardian Electric. She then moved back to Wisconsin to help out on the family dairy farm in the Town of Deer Creek. After their marriage they moved to West Chicago where she was a housewife for a period of time. Bea and Arthur moved to the Town of Deer Creek where they operated a dairy farm. They then owned and operated a dairy farm in Little Black until 1996. During this time Bea did babysitting out of her home, cooked at the Pleasant Heights School, worked at Stetsonville Manufacturing and at Figi’s during the holiday season. In 1996, they sold the farm and moved to Stetsonville. Bea enjoyed flowers, gardening, cooking, especially her famous poppy seed rolls, fishing, watching the Weather Channel and listening to the baseball games on the radio. She loved to talk on the phone, especially to her sisters and good friends and loved going to reunions to see her family and friends. For the past 50 years Bea kept a journal.

MEMBER OF: Very active in Zion Ev. Lutheran Church, where she served as President for the Zion Sewing Circle. She was also a member of the Zion Mission Circle and she often coordinated and cooked meals for weddings, funerals and other church dinners. Arthur and Bea served as greeters for many, many years at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church.

She enjoyed watching the Milwaukee Brewers, Green Bay Packers and the Wisconsin Badgers. She was an avid reader and enjoyed walking and fishing.

She resided in Milwaukee and worked at First Wisconsin Bank in the data entry department until her retirement. She moved to Arkansas in retirement and did volunteer work. In 1998 she moved to Wausau and in 2010 to Medford. She enjoyed bird watching, knitting, sewing, crocheting and reading. She also served as a den mother for the Cub Scouts for a period of time.
