EDUCATION: Attended Chicago Area Schools

MARRIAGE: February 3, 1951 at the South Shore Baptist Church in Chicago to Wilbert A. Blomberg and he preceded her in death on December 24, 1997.

PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: Mabel grew up in Chicago and was an accomplished piano player; she was a self-taught organ player as well & was the lead organ and piano player for seven decades at the Ogema Baptist Church. She was active in teaching music as well throughout her life. Mabel was a dedicated wife, mother, and friend to countless people. She was an avid reader, enjoyed baking, knitting, crocheting and gardening.

MEMBER OF: Ogema Baptist Church, Ogema; the Ladies Aid; Sunday School Teacher and Willing Workers
Mabel also led Neighborhood Bible Studies
She is a past member of God’s Invasion Army

SURVIVING CHILDREN: 2 Daughters: Ruthie (Blair) Watt of Marshfield and Peggy (Joe) Francour of Merrill
5 Sons: Ron (Cyndi) of Cypress, CA, Jerry (Jennifer) of Ogema, Tom (Donna) of Iron River, Dan (Chris) of Ogema and Steve (Krista) of Ogema

25 GRANDCHILDREN; 14 GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN
