Shirley worked as a CNA at the Medford and Rib Lake nursing homes and also in retail grocery at Medford County Market as well as Ed’s IGA in Rib Lake. Shirley enjoyed gardening, her large abundant flower and herbal beds as well as homesteading in her log house her husband built for her.
