Terry Louis Nemitz
Terry went to be with his heavenly father on December 29, 2013.
Terry was born to Robert and Judith (Buresh)Nemitz on Feburary 16th 1964 in Bloomer WI. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bloomer WI. Currently a faithful member of Zion Lutheran Church of Stetonsville WI.
Terry graduated from Bloomer High School in 1982. He met the love of his life, constant companion, and best friend, Helen R. Diamond in 1982 (her sister Carol's fault). Terry and Helen were married on August 20,1983. They shared 30 years of marriage.
Terry enjoyed traveling anywhere and every where. He was well liked and very loved by everyone he met. He enjoyed spending time with family, friends and playing cards. There wasn't a card game that he didn't know or enjoy. He always had the ability, no matter what the card game, to know exactly what cards you had in your hand.
Terry is survived by his wife Helen, daughters, Sara ( Steve) Budtke, Kimberly Nemitz, son Matthew Nemitz, granddaughter Anna Budtke, mother Judith, sister Tracy ( Matt) Bischel, brother Tom (Penny) Nemitz. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and special friends.
He is preceded in death by his father Robert, brother Tim, maternal and paternal grandparents, Louis and Helen Nemitz, step grandmother Dorothy Nemitz, William Buresh, Edna Stelter, and step grandfather Clarence Wilda.
Terry will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, January 2 at the Zion Ev. Lutheran Church, Stetsonville with Rev. James Babler officiating. Visitation will be 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, January 1 at the Zion Ev. Lutheran Church, Stetsonville and also from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, January 2 at the church. Honorary pallbearers are Steven, Scott and Mike Nemitz
Active pallbearers are Tim, Alan, BJ and Jimmy Nemitz, Andrew Bichel, James Moon and Jon Lechleitner. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Terry’s family to be designated at a later date. Hemer Funeral Homes of Medford and Rib Lake is assisting the family with arrangements.
If someone was in need, Terry was the first one to be there, if you needed a fourth for pinochle, Terry was your guy, and if someone needed a laugh, Terry would provide that too. His short time on this earth was full of so much life, his great love for the Lord and willingness to touch so many. Leaving a legacy that will not soon be forgotten.
