EDUCATION: Ward grade school, Rib Lake area and was a 1952 graduate of Marshfield Sr. High School
MARRIAGE: 1st: In 1958 to Joan Schuh and they were later divorced; 2nd: In Marshfield to Jacqueline Welch and she preceded him in death in 2003
PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: After graduating from high school, he worked briefly for Steve Miller Cheese Company and Soo Line Railroad before entering the service. US Army veteran having served from 1954-1956. After the military, in 1958 he began his career with the Marshfield Fire Dept. where he worked for 24 years until his retirement in 1982 as an engineer. He then moved to the Town of Rib Lake where he resided until moving to Wells Nature View Assisted Living in Marshfield 1 year ago. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing.
