MARRIAGE: November 11, 1950 at Assumption of Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Chelsea, to Delores Mayer and she preceded him in death on August 11, 2012
PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: Edward served in the U.S. Navy from 1947 to 1950. After returning home from the service he owned and operated a dairy farm in the Township of Westboro from 1950 until the time of his death. He also worked at the Milk Plant in Westboro for a number of years. Edward ran a paver for Payne & Dolan in Madison for 25 years. He worked for Reliance Black Topping in Madison for a number of years. He was a boxer during his time in the service. Edward and his wife also fostered five children, Betty, Stella, Sandy, John and Allan. He enjoyed playing cards, watching the Packers, fishing,his aquariums and he loved his “Puppy”.
SURVIVING CHILDREN: Dawn (Theodore) Thums and Tracy (Rhonda) Sackman, both of Westboro, Mary (Ron Zingale) Simek of Bonita Springs, Fla., Edward Jr. (Dawn) of Menomonee, Rodney (Sandy Niggeman) of Wausau, and Brad (Suzie) of Vadnais Heights, Minn.
