PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: John was a truck driver, asphalt plant tree service
and a mechanic. During the time of employment in the tree service in Oregon he
was drafted into the war. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from January 23,
1952 – December 24, 1953. He was an avid fisherman and hunter. John also
enjoyed playing the concertina.
