EDUCATION: Joe graduated from Menominee Falls North High school and attended college at U.W. Whitewater

MARRIAGE: August 31, 1985 in a barn in Appleton to Mary B. Cihasky and she survives

PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: Joe worked for the laundry industry for over 26 years at ITU in New Berlin. He then transferred to Neenah where he married the love of his life, Mary Cihasky. Joe found his final calling at C.R.I. Recycling in Woodville where he was Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing. He enjoyed golfing, playing cards at Gords with his buddies, fishing, working on the family cabin, and he loved playing with his nieces, nephews and cousins.

SURVIVING CHILDREN: 2 four-legged kids: Parker & Mattie

SURVIVING BROTHERS/SISTERS: Sue (Bill) Frodl of Brookfield, Jimmy Mattson of Oshkosh, Sally (Ken) Bowers of Winneconne, Tim (Ann) Mattson of Appleton, Ron Mattson of Brokaw, Don (Beckah) Mattson of Hastings, MN & Sherri (Mike) Minta of Suamico

BROTHERS/SISTERS DECEASED: Daniel Mattson

Joe is further survived by many Nieces & Nephews of whom he played a strong leadership role in their lives.

DECEASED MOTHER: Carol A. Harter

OTHER INFORMATION: In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made in Joe’s name to the Disabled Veterans or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
