EDUCATION: Medford area elementary schools and was a 1973 graduate of Medford High School; He received associate degrees from NTC in Wausau in both residential design and industrial engineering; He received his bachelor's degree in business administration from Mount Senario
MARRIAGE: May 21, 1977 at First Baptist Church, Medford to Rebecca A. Hull and she survives
PRINCIPLE EVENTS IN LIFE: He worked as a manager for 30 years at Hurd Millwork in Medford. He worked as a substitute teacher in the Rib Lake school district for a period of time. He worked for 8 years at Enerquip in Medford until ill health forced his retirement. He enjoyed the GB Packers, fishing, his grandchildren and his children’s sporting events.
MEMBER OF: Christian Bible Fellowship Church, Stetsonville where he was active in many church functions; Spirit Lakes Improvement Association where he was active for 20 years in many ways
SURVIVING SPOUSE: Rebecca “Becky” A. Poirier of Rib Lake
SURVIVING CHILDREN: Micah (Melissa) Poirier of Mosinee & Samantha (Brad) Blasel of Dorchester
