John J. “Jack” Wudi, 75, a Town of Greenwood resident,
passed away Monday, January 9, 2017 at his home.
Jack was born July 9, 1941 in Medford to Bernard and Ida
(Born) Wudi. They precede him in death.
He is survived by his siblings: Sally (Ken) Asselin of St.
Francis, Kathleen (late Ron) Frahmann of Racine, Kenneth (late Vickie) Wudi of
Medford and Carol Vlasis of Schofield, 8 Nieces, 1 Nephew and many friends and neighbors.
Jack graduated from Rib Lake High School. He then went on to be a lifetime farmer, and
ran his own farm in the Town of Greenwood. He loved to spend time outside
cutting firewood, gardening, picking berries and taking care of his animals, especially
his dog, and watching deer. Jack will always be remembered for lending a
helping hand to anyone who needed it.
He was of the Catholic faith, and was a member of St. Anne’s
Catholic Church and Good Shepherd Catholic Church.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 AM, Friday January 13,
2017 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Rib Lake. Father Otto Bucher will officiate.
Visitation will be held at Good Shepherd Church from 9:30 until the time of
Mass at 11. Cremation rites will follow services; burial of cremated remains
will take place at St. Anne’s Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in honor of Jack can
be given to the St. Anne’s Historical Society.
