PRINCIPLE EVENTS IN LIFE: After his education, he entered the US Navy and was a veteran of the Korean War. After the service, he resided in Indiana and moved to the Lublin area in 1972 where he farmed for a period of time. He did some home improvement work for a period of time. Worked for Indianhead Action Agency until ill health forced his retirement. He enjoyed camping, catfish fishing, slow-grilling BBQ ribs, painting and wood carving. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Of all these things, his greatest pride was being a Papa to his grandchildren, as he readily admitted being a grandpa was much more fun and he was better at it.
