Adella was born February 19, 1934 in Spooner, WI. She is a graduate of Spooner High School. She married Donald E. Moen on July 23, 1953 in Trego, WI. Donald preceded her in death on April 27, 2015.
She is survived by her children: Donald ( Ilona) Moen of Cochran, WI, Patty (John “David”) Neubauer of Medford, WI, Jerry (Erin) Moen of Benson, AZ, Dawn (Keith) Lipinski of Athens, WI, James “Jim” Moen of Medford, WI, Henry Moen of Stetsonville, WI, 22 Grandchildren, 48 Great Grandchildren, 5 Great Great Grandchildren, and her beloved dogs Ginger and Buddy.
Adella worked as a waitress for the Lamplighter Supper Club and went on to work in the lab at Foremost. She then stayed at home and raised her children. She enjoyed working in her and Don’s flower and vegetable gardens. She loved to cook food to share with her family and passed on the art of canning vegetables from her garden to her Grandchildren. She last worked in custodial care at the Taylor County Courthouse.
Adella also liked to crochet, complete puzzles, and keeping up with friends and family on Facebook. Her family was most important to her, especially all her grandchildren.
Cremation rites have been accorded, and a celebration of life will take place this Summer at the Mondeaux Dam Recreation Area. Burial of cremated remains will take place at the Perkinstown Cemetery.
