EDUCATION: Medford Elementary schools and was a 1950 graduate of Medford High School
MARRIAGE: June 23, 1956 in Milwaukee to Margaret “Midge” A. Weber and she survives
PRINCIPLE EVENTS IN LIFE: After his education, he entered the US Army and served during the Korean Was in the Army Corp. of Engineers. After the service, he returned to Medford and worked locally for James Peterson & Sons, Neuendorf Transportation, ANR Trucking, Central Sand & Gravel & Krug Tours for periods of time. He also served on the Medford City Council as an alderman and on the Taylor County Board for periods of time. He enjoyed storytelling, fishing, hunting, his green truck, the cabin at Shearer Lake, socializing, cobbling, the outdoors, driving truck and a recent trip on the Never Forgotten Honor Flight.
MEMBER OF: Medford VFW Club, Chelsea Conservation Club and was a Lifetime member of the Medford American Legion Club
SURVIVING SPOUSE: Margaret “Midge” A. Thielke of Medford
SURVIVING CHILDREN: Debbi (Wayne) Weiland of Holcombe & Susan (Nanette) Thielke of Maplewood, MN
