VISITATION: 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 12 at the Hemer Funeral Home, Medford, where there will be a 7:00 P.M. Rosary Service and also from 9:30 A.M. until 11:15 A.M. Thursday, December 13 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Whittlesey

EDUCATION: Attended Chelsea Area Schools

MARRIAGE INFORMATION: November 25, 1950 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Whittlesey to Betty F. Judnic and she survives

PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: Joe served in the U.S. Army from 1951-1953 during the Korean War. He drove truck and logged for George and Walter Haenel for a number of years. He also worked as a heavy machine operator for James Peterson & Sons Construction Company for 32 ½ years until his retirement in 1989. After his retirement, he built a sawmill, the Columbia. He was an avid reader and enjoyed hunting, fishing, logging, horse pulls, 4-wheeling and snowmobiling. Joe also enjoyed going to the Short Prong Lodge.

He also served as Past Chairman for the Town of Chelsea

Sons: Jerry (Peggy), Jack (Mary) James (Sarah) and Mike (Sharon) Imbach all of Medford
