MARRIAGE INFORMATION: February 28, 1953 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Township of Barton to Alyce Crass and they were later divorced but remain close friends
PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: US Army veteran having served from 1948-1949. After the service he worked on the family farm in Kewaskum, WI. He then did pipe line work, owned and operated an excavating company and body shop in the town of Barton for periods of time. He moved from the Town of Barton to Slinger, WI in 1966. He moved to the Town of Chelsea in 1972. He worked in construction & did mechanic work for 26 years retiring in 1990. He started racing cars at the age of 20, raced vintage modified cars for 26 years retiring from that in 1980. He was inducted into the Southeastern Wisconsin Short Track Hall of Fame in 2009 where he was known as “Donald the Duck” & “Sneaky Pete” in the racing circles. He enjoyed tinkering in the garage, hunting, Monday card games, visiting with friends & family, & collecting TREASURES.
