EDUCATION: Attended Stetsonville Grade School, Graduate of Medford High School

MARRIAGE INFORMATION: Bill married his high school sweetheart, Joyce M. Klingbeil on July 19, 1958 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church and she survives

PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: As a young child, Bill moved to Ladysmith. He was raised by William and Christine Baker and they moved to Stetsonville. He entered the U.S. Air Force and served as a Flight Engineer during the Korean War. He also served 4 years in the Air Force Reserve. Bill did veal and poultry farming in the Town of Little Black for 40 years, during this time he also was a feed consultant for Supreme Foods and was one of the first salesmen for Tombstone Pizza for a period of time. Bill enjoyed all things outdoors, which included, gardening, fishing, hunting, camping, especially with his children and grandchildren. Bill was always quick with a smile and loved to make others laugh. He was a great artist. He also enjoyed attending all the grandchildren’s sporting events.
