DATE & PLACE OF BIRTH: April 29, 1933 in Spirit
EDUCATION: Attended Spirit Center Grade School and received his GED while serving in the U.S. Army
MARRIAGE: August 17, 1957 at St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Brantwood to Diane R. Larson
PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: He served in the U.S. Army; during the Korean Conflict 1954-1955. After working a short time at Owens, Illinois and doing building construction, Carl started dairy farming on his father’s homestead. They then later purchased his Mother’s Homestead and moved the operation to his uncle’s barn for over 40 years until his retirement in 1999. During this time Carl also cut pulpwood.
He loved nature and working outdoors. He enjoyed 4-wheeling, snowmobiling, watching the packers, his good sense of humor and being a family man, especially spending time with his grandchildren.

SURVIVING CHILDREN: 2 Sons: Randy and Michael (Angela) both of Spirit.
2 Daughters: Terri (Bruce) Roberts of Tomahawk and Lori (Larry) Wiitala of Ogema
3 GRANDCHILDREN: Brooklyn, Lindsey and Niklas
