MARRIAGE: Henry married Loretta E. Dassow on February 7, 1948. After 65 years of marriage, Loretta went to heaven on May 7, 2013
PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: Henry served in the U.S. Army from 1945 to 1947, where he served with the occupation forces in Japan. Henry owned and operated his own logging business for all of his adult life. They owned and operated a dairy farm in the Town of Medford until 1971. He also worked for the Taylor County Highway Department for a short time. Henry enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, watching birds, camping, digging ponds, and tinkering in his shop. He enjoyed polka music, especially Big Joe and Molly B.
