PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: After High School, Robert entered the U. S. Marines,
where he served in the 1st Marine Division in the Pacific during
WWII. After his service in the military, he worked for A.L Jackson Construction
Co. for 23 years as a carpenter and general laborer. Bob was later employed
through the Labor Union as a carpenter for 23 years until his retirement in
1988. He enjoyed bowling, reading at the library, talking about old times,
taking pictures, snowmobiling, and exercising.

AFL-CIO Labor Union Local # 3 of Chicago, IL, F & A.M. King Oscar Lodge # 855, &
Swedish American Recreation Club in Chicago, IL. Former member of Zion Lutheran
