EDUCATION: Gilman Elementary Schools and was a 1950 graduate of Gilman High School
MARRIAGE: July 24, 1954 at Gilman to Alfred “Al” D. Palmer and he survives
PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: After her education, she worked as a secretary at Wetzel Insurance and later Burzynski Insurance companies in Gilman. Then she worked as a secretary to the principal at the Gilman High School. They moved to Medford and she worked as a secretary at the Taylor Co. D.A. office, Klinner Insurance, and the Taylor County Commission on Aging where she was instrumental in the volunteer driver program. She was also active in the Taylor County BB/BS program. She retired due to ill health. She enjoyed downhill skiing, all types of books, and spending their winter months in Hot Springs, AR for 20 years.
