MARRIAGE: June 26, 1935 at Whittlesey to Gilbert E. Krug and he preceded her in death on October 10, 1968
PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: They owned and operated a tavern in the Town of Chelsea for a number of years. Gilbert and Leona owned and operated a mink ranch in the Village of Whittlesey for 26 years and after her husband’s death still helped out during the pelting season. Leona also worked at Hurd Millwork for a period of time. She enjoyed needlework, crafts, painting, making mink accessories, fishing and gambling.
MEMBER OF: Trinity Lutheran Church, Trinity Ladies Aid, Chelsea Conservation Club Auxiliary, where she served as President for a number of years, the Medford VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the Whittlesey Homemaker’s Club. She was also a longtime member of the Trinity Lutheran Church Choir.

3 Sons: Gerald (Carolyn) Krug of Sun City West, Arizona, Wayne (Significant Other: Claudette Saladin) Krug of Whittlesey and Gene (Gloria) Krug of Medford
