Ludwig M. Macik, 85, of Medford, passed away Saturday November 10, 2018 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday November 15, 2018 at Hemer Funeral Home, Medford Chapel. Burial will follow in Medford Evergreen Cemetery II. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 12 Noon until the time of services at 2:00.
Ludwig was born May 16, 1933 in Goodrich, WI to Jerry and Agnes (Cech) Macik. He is a 1951 graduate of Medford High School.
He is survived by Niece Joan (Bill) Krohn of Mukwanago, Nephews Jon Macik of Medford and Kenneth (Jennifer) Burisek of the Town of Deer Creek, further survived by several Great and Great Great Nieces and Nephews.
Ludwig is preceded in death by his Parents, Sisters Marth Macik, Ruth Burisek and Brother George Macik.
Ludwig owned and operated his own dairy farm in the Town of Goodrich. In the winters he enjoyed being out doing woods work. He also had a strong passion for hunting and trapping.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in honor of Ludwig can be given to the National Kidney Foundation.
