EDUCATION: 1979 graduate of Medford Sr. High School and later attended UW-Marshfield (Wood County), UW-Marathon Co., and UW-River Falls

PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: Steve worked at Marathon Cheese in Medford and later enrolled in the US Army where he received an honorable discharge. Steve had a long career as a truck driver which he enjoyed and was successful at. He drove for a variety of companies which included Allied Van Lines, Graebel Van Lines, Tombstone Pizza & Weathershield.
Throughout his live, he was a huge sports fan, cheering on the Packers & Badgers. He also enjoyed attending local stock car races. His favorite baseball team was Wausau’s Wisconsin Woodchucks, who he had the opportunity to work for. Steve also showed his competitive spirit by playing in local basketball and softball leagues (where he liked to show off his cannon for an arm)! Over the years, he could be seen working as a referee for a variety of age levels. Steve valued his family, friends and those same people will truly miss him!
