John H. Rosenfeldt, 72, of Chippewa Falls, formerly of Rib
Lake, passed away Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Northwest Pathways where he had
resided for the past 10 years.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, June
5, 2019 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Rib Lake with Father Otto Bucher
officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will
take place at Lakeview Cemetery following the service. Pallbearers will be:
Brian Kathrein, Jody Neubauer, Tara Rose, Brenda Fallos, Diane Seng, Jim Seng,
and Jason Wanek.
John was born November 21, 1946 in Marshfield to Southwell
and Lucile (Lehman) Rosenfeldt. John attended Ward Elementary School in Rib
Lake. He worked at the Medford Achievement Center and then later at Black River
Industries in Medford. He enjoyed listening to music, especially polka,
collecting shoe-shoes (shoelaces), eating hot dogs, beans, and onions. John was
a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church.
John is survived by his siblings: Malinda (Joseph) Kathrein
of Rib Lake, Joan Wanek of Charleston, IL, and James (Cheryl) Rosenfeldt of Rib
Lake. John is further survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
John is proceeded in death by his Father, Southwell, Mother,
Lucile, Brother-In-Law, Don Wanek, and Nephew, David Kathrein.
