Ralph “David” Schwartz, 69, of Medford, passed away on June 4, 2019 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital with his loving wife Mary and children by his side.
He was born September 7, 1949 to Ralph and Mary (Delaney)
Schwartz in Placerville, CA. Married Mary Hrobsky on June 29, 1979. He drove
truck for McKay Nursery and Duckert Pallet in Waterloo. He moved north to Medford
in 1992 and drove truck for Weather Shield until health forced his retirement in
2007.
David brought joy to everybody who knew him, especially his
family. He had a love of hunting, fishing, and helping with hunter safety. He
enjoyed trapshooting, earning many trophies, fishing in Canada, and salmon
fishing in Lake Michigan. Above all else he had a great love for his family.
David is survived by Mary, his wife of 40 years; daughters,
Tammy (Steve) Belanger, Theresa (Doug) Ulam, and Dawn Joles; son, James (Patty)
Grueneberg; grandchildren, Nick, Chris, Brittany, Justin, Matt, Samantha,
Ann-Mari, Trinity, and great grand-grandchildren. He is further survived by his
brother, Fred (Peggy) Schwartz and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and son-in-law Jerry
Joles.
A memorial visitation for David will take place on June 8,
2019 at Hemer Funeral Home – Medford Chapel from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
In Lieu of flowers memorial donations in David’s name may be
given to St. Jude's Children’s Hospital.
