He enjoyed pitching horseshoes, playing cards, fishing, spoiling his grandchildren, horses, driving in the country, baseball games & spending time with his family. He served on the boards of: Little Black Township, Taylor County, Pleasant View Cheese Factory, Stetsonville Community Center and Medford Co-op for periods of time.

She was an avid reader, enjoyed baking, knitting, crocheting and gardening.
