PRINCIPLE EVENTS IN LIFE: After his education, he ranched in North Dakota until moving to Rockford, IL in 1961 where he worked as a machinist at Rockford Screw Products and later Chrysler. From 1968-1974 he worked as a production supervisor at Kent Feeds. In 1975 they moved to the Medford area and worked as a machinist at Wisconsin Equipment until 1979. They moved to Owen where they owned/operated the Curtiss Feed Mill from 1979-1985. Moved to Stetsonville where he sold insurance as an independent agent. Then he worked at Agri-King as a cattle nutritionist & later drove truck for Abbyland Trucking until ill health forced his retirement. He enjoyed playing guitar, gospel/country music, bowling, was a self-fabricator, family activities, his church, biking, bird watching, hunting and his Sheltie dog.
