PLACE, DATE & TIME OF DEATH: Tuesday, September 18 at Harbor Haven Health & Rehabilitation, Fond du Lac where he had resided for the past 15 years

 

TIME & PLACE OF SERVICES:   Memorial Mass at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 6 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Stetsonville

 

OFFICIATING:  Father Michael Hayden

 

INTERMENT:   Interment of his cremated remains will take place at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery, Stetsonville 

 

VISITATION:  9:30 AM until the time of services at 11 AM on Saturday, October 6 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Stetsonville

 

DATE & PLACE OF BIRTH: April 29, 1943 at Medford

 

EDUCATION: Liberty School, Stetsonville

 

MARRIAGE: Never married, but he had a longtime companion, Betty Graves and she preceded him in death in 1998

 

PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: Richie did lawn mowing work in the Medford and Stetsonville areas.  He also worked at Black River Industries in Medford.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, music, fishing, gardening and puzzles.

 

MEMBER OF:  Past member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Stetsonville

 

SURVIVING BROTHERS/SISTERS: Joyce (Eugene) Erickson of Jackson, Karen Olson and Rhonda (Mike) Handel both of Medford, Marjean Zemaitis of Phoenix, AZ, Kristyn (David) Tickler of Park Falls, Jon (Julie) Riemer of Osceola, Phyllis (Bill) Schafer of Brodhead & Larry (Pam) Riemer of River Falls

Sister-in-law:  Pauline Riemer of Stetsonville

Further survived by many nieces and nephews

 

BROTHERS/SISTERS DECEASED: Marvin Riemer in 2011; Brothers-in-law:  Otto “Jr.” Olson in 2016 & Steven Zemaitis in 2017

 

DECEASED FATHER:  Norman Edgar Riemer     DECEASED MOTHER:  Ruth Mary (Ludwig) Riemer
