Dolores J. Kleinschmidt, age 91, of Medford, a former Wausau
resident, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2020 at Deerview Meadows, where
she had resided for the past 2 years, most recently under the care of Hope
Hospice and Palliative Care.
Dolores was born on July 1, 1928 to the late Arthur and
Amanda (Saager) Hirsch in Wausau. She attended Wausau Area Elementary School.
On December 28, 1946, she married Roger D. Kleinschmidt in Wausau. He preceded
her in death on April 7, 1982.
Dolores was a homemaker and in her free time, she enjoyed
embroidering, sewing, and spending time with friends and family. She was a
member of Wesley Methodist Church in Wausau.
Left to cherish in Dolores’ Memory is her daughter – Karen
(Mark) Bielen of Ogema; Grandchildren—Jennifer Sorenson, of Oshkosh, and Mathew
(Mindy) Bielen, of Wausau; 2 Great-Grandchildren; and sister – Jeanette Wolf,
of Elcho.
Along with her parents and husband, Dolores is preceded in
death by a son, Michael G. Kleinschmidt, and a brother, Melvin Hirsch.
