Deloris was born on April 3, 1934 to Fred and Julia (Redwine) Dorava in Perkinstown. She attended Roosevelt Elementary, Hannibal High School, Hannibal and Taylor County Normal School. She received her teaching certificate and continued on to earn her Masters Degree.
She married George Larson of Tomahawk on July 9, 1966, they resided in the Tomahawk area until George’s death in 2008, after which Deloris moved to Medford.
Deloris taught school for 45 years in Jump River, Dorchester, Westboro, and Tomahawk. She served as 4-H leader for the Lucky Hills 4-H Club for 58 years and received numerous awards for her work in 4-H and education.
Deloris is survived by her two sisters, Clarice Heier and Nancy Dorava and brother, Fred Dorava.
Deloris is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and brothers, Elmer, James, and Robert.
Cremation rites have been accorded and a private burial will take place at a later date.
