PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: Frank served in the U.S. Army Reserve from 1957-1963. He was called to active duty during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He then owned and operated a service station in Lake Mills and in Fort Atkinson, during this time he also worked in the auto industry at various locations in Watertown, Lake Mills, and Fort Atkinson until moving to Medford in 1976. While residing in Medford he was the fleet manager of Tombstone Pizza until 1991 and Bauer Trucking, where he was the parts manager until his retirement in 1996. Frank enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, bowling, snowmobiling, horseshoes, watching the Packers and NASCAR.

PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: As a young child, Bill moved to Ladysmith. He was raised by William and Christine Baker and they moved to Stetsonville. He entered the U.S. Air Force and served as a Flight Engineer during the Korean War. He also served 4 years in the Air Force Reserve. Bill did veal and poultry farming in the Town of Little Black for 40 years, during this time he also was a feed consultant for Supreme Foods and was one of the first salesmen for Tombstone Pizza for a period of time. Bill enjoyed all things outdoors, which included, gardening, fishing, hunting, camping, especially with his children and grandchildren. Bill was always quick with a smile and loved to make others laugh. He was a great artist. He also enjoyed attending all the grandchildren’s sporting events.

He was an avid reader and enjoyed hunting, fishing, logging, horse pulls, 4-wheeling and snowmobiling. Joe also enjoyed going to the Short Prong Lodge.

After retirement from that, he owned and operated Gowey Abstract and Title Co. in Medford for a period of years. He had served on the boards of Tee-Hi Golf, Taylor Co. Historical Society and Memorial Hosp of Taylor Co. for periods of time. He enjoyed his church, golf, playing cards, traveling, gardening and spending time with his grandchildren.

He started racing cars at the age of 20, raced vintage modified cars for 26 years retiring from that in 1980. He was inducted into the Southeastern Wisconsin Short Track Hall of Fame in 2009 where he was known as “Donald the Duck” & “Sneaky Pete” in the racing circles. PATRICIA "PAT" A. GOJMERAC
Patricia “Pat” A. Gojmerac, Age 88 died on November 27 at her residence surrounded by her loving family and Hope Hospice. She was born to loving parents Joseph P. and Petronella Bautch Kulig on May 31, 1924 in Lincoln Township, Independence, WI the 6th of 9 children.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, December 1 at 11:00 A.M. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Rib Lake with Father Otto Bucher and Deacon Mark Priniski officiating. Burial will take place at St. Ann’s Cemetery in the Town of Greenwood. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 30 at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, Rib Lake from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. with a Prayer Service being held at 7:00 P.M. Visitation will also be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 1 at the church.
She attended Maule Coulee School, SS Peter and Paul Catholic School and graduated from Independence High School Class of 1942. She also attended Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Oshkosh.
She was married to Joseph G. Gojmerac of Rib Lake at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Independence on October 18, 1949, where he preceded her in death on July 14, 1983. Following their marriage they owned and operated the Cities Service garage near Independence and had a concession trailer at various fairs for many years. In September 1955 they moved to a farm on Highway C in Rib Lake and lived there for 25 years and were custodians at the Rib River Grade School for 13 years. They then moved to the Village of Rib Lake in March 1981. Pat loved collecting sheep and hearts, dinner cruises on the Mississippi, visiting the sick, comforting families in their time of loss, writing journals and letters, sending cards and spending time with family, grandchildren and friends.
Pat is a member of Good Shepherd Parish, Historic St. Ann’s Blue Cross Mission Circle, Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary, Concerned Heart Club, Marshfield, Ministry Health Care Prayer Team of St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield and the Rib Lake Public Library. She is a charter member and volunteer of Hope Hospice and Palliative Care, involved since its inception on July 1, 1985. Pat was also a participant of the Miraculous Medal Association, the Rib Lake Birthday Club and Rib Lake Friendship Club. She is a past member of the Christian Mothers for 45 years, the parish council and family concerns committee. Pat also served on the election board for the Town of Rib Lake and was involved in the Accelerated Reading Program at the Rib Lake Elementary School. Pat also volunteered as a Friendly Visitor for many years at Rib Lake Nursing Home.
She is survived by three sons: Joseph Jr. (Mary) of St. Paul, MN, Michael (Deborah) of Rib Lake and Thomas (Debra) of Rib Lake. One Daughter: Rosanne (Rick) Carstensen of Medford. PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: After college Frank entered the U.S. Army where he served from July 1957- April 1959. During this time he was stationed in Anchorage, Alaska. After his time in the service, he worked and lived in South Haven, Michigan, and then Grinnell, Iowa. He served as CEO of Upjohn Home Health Care in Milwaukee, WI, for a number of years. He then worked in Commercial/Marketing Southern District for Telephone Data Systems until 1980 where he worked in Commercial/Marketing Northern District until his retirement. He enjoyed collecting model trains, going to antique car shows, and watching the Packers. He was an avid reader of WWII history. After his time in the service, he worked and lived in South Haven, Michigan, and then Grinnell, Iowa. He served as CEO of Upjohn Home Health Care in Milwaukee, WI, for a number of years. PLACE, DATE & TIME OF DEATH: 11:06 A.M. Saturday, October 13, 2012 at the Pine Ridge Assisted Living, Wisconsin Rapids where she had resided for the past 1 ½ years. Dean was surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice.

VISITATION AT: 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. October 19 at the Good Shepherd Church, Rib Lake, WI where there will be a 7:00 P.M. Parish Rosary Service, and also from 10:00 A.M. until mass at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 20 at the church.
EDUCATION: Attended Westboro Grade School and was a 1945 Graduate of Westboro High School
MARRIAGE INFORMATION: June 1, 1946 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Rib Lake, WI to Regis Conrad Niggemann. Regis preceded her in death on January 30, 1988.
PRINCIPAL EVENTS IN LIFE: Donaldean and Regis raised their 13 children on a family dairy farm in Westboro, WI. Throughout her life she was employed by several local establishments finding her true calling when she joined Hope Hospice, under the directorship of Barb Meyer. Dean enjoyed 15 years of devoted service to Hospice retiring at the age of 73.
She was an accomplished seamstress. Dean lovingly created many gorgeous ensembles for her family, most notably designing and stitching wedding gowns and other elegant attire, traveling as far as Lake Tahoe, Nevada and Cape Town, South Africa to complete her beautiful creations. She was the Lucky Lakers 4-H sewing leader for 30 years teaching several generations of children the art of sewing.
She enjoyed many keen interests; patchwork quilting, knitting, embroidery, and rosemaling, to name a few. She was a very skilled baker and candy maker. For many years her children’s’ teachers looked forward to their Christmas gift box of homemade candy.
She was a world traveler. Her bags were always half packed and ready to leave at a moment’s notice, especially to visit her many children and grandchildren, taking their poker money, and leaving them with full hearts and many fond memories. A mean wordsmith, she was never far from a crossword puzzle or Scrabble board. When younger she was an avid huntress enjoying walking through the woods, tracking deer and demonstrating her fine marksmanship.
Donaldean was a generous, kind, loving woman who deeply cared for her beloved children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, friends and neighbors. She was her family’s first and finest teacher; teaching life’s many lessons from the beginning of our life until the end of hers.
MEMBER OF: Donaldean was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Rib Lake, WI for her entire life. She was active in the Christian Mothers Organization and a participant in numerous ministries.

Then he worked as a mechanic at Roger’s Sinclair in Rib Lake until 1981. Then he owned and operated Beaver Valley auto repair shop until ill health forced his retirement in 1999. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, 4 wheeling, and wood carving.
